Navigating the Homefront

About December 30, 2011

In early 2010, we were  friends were discussing our struggles in caring for our homes as we became mothers.   We were competent professionals, a nurse and a teacher, before we took up motherhood and homemaking.  It wasn’t until we began to take a more full time approach to housekeeping, that we realized that we lacked the basic skills.    We decided to start a blog, and  after  two years, two more (soon to be three!) babies, and three moves (of eight hundred miles or longer), we’ve finally started posting.  This blog is our way of sharing what we’ve learned over the past three years. We hope it benefits others who are eager to make their house a home.
